FEATURED READS

I learned to deepen my study of the Word by picking up on literary devices in the text. It’s been a while since I took a literature class—and I wasn’t always paying attention—so I thought it was time to refresh my mind on what literary devices actually exist. These posts cover go over the basics of each literary device and then provide example of it in use in the Bible.

The book of

Daniel is one of the most well known prophets of the Bible. He was taken captive by the Babylonians at a young age and subsequently provided the king a Babylon with both divine interpretations of dreams, as well as, powerful displays of faith. This is one of my favorite books of the Bible and next up in my

study.
