Ode de Curls
Springy coils erupting from my head
Dance wildly beneath the water
And drip oceans in my sink--
Attack brushes and devour pins.
Smooth and soft
Waves and wonders plummeting down
Weight my head with force
Fall to my shoulders
And drown my skin.
Sensitive, smooth, soft
Beautiful curls and strands embracing--
Tangling amongst tangles
Intertwined like a riddle,
Disarrayed like a rubix cube.
Soft.
