Fruit of the Spirit: Self Control (feat. GirlTalkWithFo)

Is it odd that the only thing in life we can control is our self, but that's one of the toughest things to do? The final Fruit of the Spirit is Self Control (or Temperance). I called up published author and finance blogger GirlTalkWithFo to talk about this fruit.

About Fo: Fo has written two books ("They That Wait" and "Dump Debt & Build Bank: The Everyday Chick’s Guide to Money") and has her own podcast, GirlTalkWithFo. She's also one of the first people I met in college. I've learned a lot about self control from her so it only seemed right to have her here for this episode.
5 For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with goodness, goodness with knowledge, 6 knowledge with self-control, self-control with endurance, endurance with godliness, 7 godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. 8 For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being useless or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
    2 Peter 1:5-8 CSB
