In Mother Nature's Arms
A gentle pitter patter,
beating softly on my window.
Lulling me to sleep
like A mother's lullaby...
Nature holds me tightly,
Her arms tighter than a mother's embrace
Rock me gently
as I come and go...
pitter patter, drip drop
Water falls, my eyes close.
The weight of the world disappears
And its just the two of us--
nature and me
Lost in this deep sleep
Drifting in the river left behind
On this endless voyage
To nature's inviting palace--
a place of endless peace.
